Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a talented Freelance Fashion Photographer to join our team in New York. As a Freelance Fashion Photographer, you will collaborate with our creative team to capture striking visuals for various projects, including fashion campaigns and editorial shoots. Your keen eye for detail, creative vision, and technical expertise will play a crucial role in creating compelling visual narratives.

Responsibilities:

• Use lighting, composition, and other technical skills to create visually stunning and impactful images.
• Manage and organize digital files and ensure they are accessible to the creative team as needed.
• Collaborate closely with the creative team to understand project objectives, concept ideas, and brand aesthetics.
• Work efficiently within deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and concepts in fashion photography.
• Edit and retouch photographs using industry-standard software while maintaining the integrity of the original concept.
• Collaborate with the post-production team to ensure the final deliverables meet the project requirements.
• Direct models, hair and makeup artists, and stylists during photoshoots to achieve the desired look and feel.
• Select appropriate locations, props, and backgrounds that complement the desired aesthetic.
• Plan and execute fashion, lifestyle, and beauty shoots, ensuring the vision is brought to life effectively.

Requirements:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with creative team, models, and other professionals on set.
• Availability to work on a freelance basis, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings, based on project requirements.
• Knowledge of current fashion and beauty trends, as well as a passion for creativity and innovation in the industry.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and color theory to create visually compelling images.
• Ability to adapt to different shooting environments, including studio and on-location shoots.
• Expertise in photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or Capture One.
• Proven experience as a Fashion Photographer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work in fashion, lifestyle, and beauty industries.
• Proficient in using professional photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and accessories.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage digital files and deliverables effectively.
