About Us

We are an award winning Staybridge Suites built in 2017. Our property has a 'feels like family' atmosphere and caters to a rich variety of corporate clientele.

We seek a dynamic General Manager to lead our teams, drive operational excellence, and maximize revenues to ensure financial profitability.


Your day to day

  • Provides supervisory direction to the Front Desk, Executive Housekeeper, Chief Engineer, and other key team members. Ensuring everyone understands the expectations of their roles and are adequately trained to perform at exceptional levels.
  • Serves as primary liaison with hotel owner. Develops and implements business strategies for the hotel which are aligned with the owners' overall mission, vision, values, and strategies.
  • Provides oversight and ensures accountability of the entire property ensuring that the hotel and operations flow seamlessly, and the entire leadership team is well versed on the various property events and expectations.
  • Works hand in hand to develop a strong working relationship with the Director of Sales and Marketing.
  • Ensures guest satisfaction, gathering feedback, responding to inquiries and resolving concerns as necessary.
  • Oversees service quality, operational efficiency, brand standards, compliance, QA compliance and service and financial measurements.
  • Oversee HR related actions in accordance with company rules and policies.
  • Recruits, interviews and trains team members.
  • Leads, directs and manages all hotel operations including but not limited to: hiring, budgeting, strategic planning, leading service initiatives, food and beverage purchasing, billing, leading and managing balanced scorecard performance, implementing and complying with all company policies and standards, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives and hotel-wide meeting participation and facilitation.
  • Achieves long term retention of employees through coaching, counseling, and recognition to help them reach their fullest potential.
  • Identifies operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and develops and implements procedures to correct any deficiencies.
  • Monitors team member performance, providing professional development, conducting evaluations and delivering recognition and rewards as appropriate.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor team member succession planning to ensure future bench strength.



What we need from you

  • Ability to handle stressful situations with poise and professionalism.
  • 3-5 Years of Previous Franchised Management Experience (IHG, Hilton, or Marriott Preferred).
  • Takes ownership of the development of their staff and creates a culture of outstanding guest service.
  • Bachelor's Degree/Higher Education Qualification/Equivalent in Hotel Administration, Business Administration.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication skills.
