Responsibilities:

·Design and develop the back-end infrastructure: Design, develop, and maintain the back-end infrastructure that powers the startup's web or mobile application. This includes building RESTful APIs, managing databases, and integrating with third-party services.

·Work with the product and design team: Collaborate with the product and design team to define and implement features that meet user needs and business requirements.

·Ensure scalability and reliability: Build a back-end that can scale to accommodate the startup's growing user base and ensure the reliability of the service.

·Write clean and maintainable code: Write clean, efficient and maintainable code that meets the startup's technical standards and best practices.

·Test and debug: Write unit and integration tests to ensure that the back-end is reliable and performant. Debug and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

·Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices: Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in back-end engineering and contribute to improving the team's technical capabilities.

Requirements:

·Proficient in Java, JavaScript and Node.js: Deep understanding of JavaScript and experience in building scalable back-end applications using Node.js.

·Experience with popular back-end frameworks: Proficiency with popular back-end frameworks such as Express.js, Koa, or Hapi.

·Experience with databases: Experience in designing and implementing databases, such as PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB.

·Experience with cloud platforms: Experience in deploying and scaling web applications on cloud platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud.

·Familiarity with DevOps: Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.

·Problem-solving skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
