The Risk Management Division (RMD) develops strategies and provides analysis and direction to the agency on all risk management issues. It is comprised of the Audit, Public Disclosure, Strategic Planning and Accountability, and Tort sections. The Public Disclosure Section's mission is to consistently improve processes to fairly and accurately provide requested records in an efficient and timely manner, and ensure the maintenance, management, and security of WSP records in accordance with statutory requirements.

Duties

The Forms and Records Analyst 3 (FRA3) provides district-wide records management strategies regarding disclosure, retention, destruction and maintenance of agency records for all District 8 (Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Kitsap, Mason, Pacific, and Wahkiakum Counties) employees. The FRA3 also assists external stakeholders with public disclosure requests, discovery, subpoenas, and tort claim investigations by gathering, copying delivering and maintaining relevant records, including electronic and traditional records.
Our new teammate will be able to:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day delivery, distribution access, maintenance and retention of manual and/or electronic records district wide.
  • Manage manual and/or electronic records retention, disposition, transfer, and storage systems and programs.
  • Assist requestor's in defining the scope of records requested and assist staff in identifying records responsive to a request.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with the public, the prosecutor's office, the defense community, media and more.
  • Manage responses to all district subpoena duces tecums and discovery demands.
  • Accurately enters disclosure related information into a computer database.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • High School degree or GED equivalent.
  • Two years of clerical experience.
  • Ability to lift/relocate up to 40 pounds of materials such as archive boxes.
