The Forklift Driver is responsible for the safe loading and unloading of freight at the WPRC. They must date and sort in the inbound freight according to type and stage it for the production line. The incumbent must also feed freight to the production line as requested. They will also be responsible for loading the Core shipments into the container as well as load supplier shipments as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• External communication with carriers pertaining to freight
• Loads and Unloads trucks and containers
• Responsible for maintaining inventory and for production area cleanliness
• Operates forklifts to stack and retrieve goods, supplies and materials
• Handles inventory movement within the assigned areas
• Balancing the needs of the customer (internal and external) with BMW policies
• Internal communication with various departments, and managers via verbal and written methods. Examples are issues and questions pertaining to freight.

• 1-2 years of: General Warehousing / Shipping
• 2-4 years of: Wholesale/Retail automotive experience with good working knowledge of automotive technology
• High School Diploma
