Your Role
The Research Food Scientist will be responsible for supporting the team in taste modulation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct kinetics and functionality testing across all NPI platforms, inclusive of taste modulation in conjunction with the global team.
- Align closely with our global Innovation and Taste Competence teams and with our Ixora discovery partner to support technology transfer into commercialization.
- Support the local and global teams with both PADI limits as well as FTO for key materials.
- Create presentation materials to support emerging technologies.
- Support IP and FTO for new and existing materials in the public domain.
- Conduct validation studies for new internal Doehler technologies and competing technology in the public domain.
- Validate new raw materials from both internal Doehler Innovation teams as well as from outside vendors for the purpose of synergy testing as well as for benchmarking.
- Work on a team and develop model base systems to test the sensory effects for chemosensates, taste modulation and functional materials.
- Support the team for the advanced food science competences for the development process.
Your Profile
- B.S. in Food Chemistry or similar
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in R&D in Flavors and CPG product R&D
- CPG process knowledge is desirable
Location
This position with report to our North Brunswick facility Monday through Friday.
