Job Description
Job summary
This position is the General Manager of our retail garden shop located in Chester, NJ. The major job functions are as follows: Manage the day to day operations of the floral shop including floral design, retail store management, plant care, floral delivery, inventory management, ordering, and supervising seasonal staff. There will be seasonally other duties as assigned.
Salary Based on experience & qualifications. A valid drivers license and clean driving record are required.
Work Schedule
Work Hours vary by season. This is a full time year round position with hours varying from 30 hours to 50+ hours during peak season. Saturdays are a requirement. Report to work 15 minutes prior to scheduled start time. Anticipated hours per week by season:
  • Work on weekends, required
  • November-December: 40-50+ hours per week
  • Mid June-November: 40 hours per week
  • April-Mid June 40-50+ hours per week (must work entire week of Mother’s Day)
  • January-March: 30-40 hours per week (must work entire week of Valentines Day)
