Department: Flight Support

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Santa Barbara

Description

Are you ready to take your career to new heights and support a dynamic team of pilots and cabin attendants?

Silver Air operates with a culture of excellence, and Flight Support Associates are at the core of that vision. You'll join a team who knows how to provide the highest quality experience for both our colleagues and customers. We have the highest-rated independent auditing firm certifications in private aviation - a selling point for customers!

Your experience is our most important asset, so we work hard to create an environment that keeps you thriving. You'll recognize we designed your benefits package (below) with a support associate's needs in mind.

  • WHO YOU ARE:

As a Flight Support Associate, you oversee the success of our most important relationships - Aircraft Owners and Charter Guests. Your knack for organization is crucial in ensuring that our pilots and cabin attendants have everything they need so that our passengers have a safe and elite travel experience.

To do that, you will approach customer service with courtesy when you:

    • Coordinate aircraft schedules based on owner requirements, crew availability, and government regulations.
    • Ensure compliance with TSA and FAA regulations and requirements.
    • Prepare, coordinate, and communicate flight logistics such as hotel reservations, ground transportation, catering, runway analyses, FBO and ramp reservations, and over-flight permits.

Your priority should be to promote and maintain a positive image of Silver Air with professional customer service. You have a natural sense of customers' needs and use varying degrees of discretion to satisfy them.

    WHAT YOU'LL LEAD:

As a Flight Support Associate, your priority is to:

    • Partner with the Director of Flight Support to enhance and prepare charter services.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the customer and various internal and external groups to ensure the smooth operation of flights.
    • Resolve customer requests, questions, and concerns, which frequently require assessment of situations to identify the optimum use of resources.

    WHO YOU'LL BE WORKING WITH:

You'll work with our Director of Flight Support, Georgi Stoyanov, to streamline the service delivery for our colleagues and customers. Beyond that, you'll work cross-functionally with our Sales, Flight Operations, and Cabin Experience teams to support our efforts.

    YOU SHOULD HAVE:

    • Experience coordinating flight logistics, including hotel reservations, ground transportation, catering, runway analyses, and FBO and ramp reservations.
    • Experience working with regulatory agencies, such as the TSA and FAA.
    • Experience working with aircraft owners and charter guests and providing excellent customer service.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
    • At least 2-3 years of experience in a customer service or aviation-related role, preferably in the private aviation industry.
    • A bachelor's degree in aviation management, business administration, or a related field is preferred, but not required.

    WHAT YOUR BENEFITS ARE:

Your success relies on how the rest of the team props you. You'll recognize we are driven to make Silver Air an incredible place to work for our sales team.

Our benefits are always evolving, though here's a peek into your perks:

    • Top-of-the-line equipment (Apple, Microsoft, Dell, Lenovo, etc.)
    • 401k match
    • Flexible leadership team
    • Cell phone allowance
    • Unlimited PTO
    • Fully paid Health insurance coverage for you and your family
    • Generous personal development and staff assistance programs
