Job Description

Sofo Foods is one of the largest family owned wholesale distributors of Italian and ethnic foods in the US. We are a 4th generation, family owned business operated by the Sofo Family. Currently we have 3 distribution centers, employing over 500 employees. We service restaurant customers in 22 plus states by providing exceptional quality and service. We are looking for an experienced Fleet/Trailer Mechanic to join our team.

Shift Responsibilities:

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and 12v electrical systems.
  • Provide routine and preventative maintenance inspections and repairs of trailers.
  • Provide daily documentation of maintenance and repairs of equipment in the fleet.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications For Success:

  • Knowledgeable of computer related applications and software.
  • Trailer Reefer repair experience is a plus but not required.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems.
  • Ability to pass a background and drug test.
  • CDL A preferred but not required.
  • Experience repairing and maintaining trailers.
  • Efficient use of time management and ability to work without assistance.
  • Ability to provide your own hand tools.
