Our core platform allows clients to buy, sell, and store precious metals and digital currencies within their existing accounts and trading systems. An innovative combination of a global over-the-counter marketplace and a storage/logistics network allows wealth managers and institutional investors to work with these alternative investments as native asset classes, maintain assets under management, and grow client assets and relationships.

We are expanding our mission to include other alternative investment classes, both traditional (e.g., private markets, private credit) and new form (e.g., NFTs, wine).

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a detail-oriented FP&A Manager to join our Finance team, reporting to SVP Finance and Head of Strategy. You will work cross-functionally with other teams (i.e., Executives, Product, Marketing, Legal, Customer Success) to lead high impact initiatives that can scale GBI across the United States and Canada. The ideal candidate should have a strong financial acumen, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information.

What you will be doing:

• Assist in performing due diligence and evaluating new M&A targets,
• Conduct regular variance analysis against budget and forecast, identifying risks and opportunities,
• Partner with business leaders to analyze financial performance, identify areas of improvement and develop action plans,
• Develop and maintain multi-year operating model(s) to support forecasting, scenario analysis and long-term strategic planning,
• Work with accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly compliance packages, board presentations and financial updates for our executive management and investors,
• Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process, including coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring timely completion of budget deliverables and consolidations,
• Collaborate with the SVP Finance and Head of Strategy to develop and execute GBI’s financial planning and analysis strategy,
• Develop, monitor and analyze key financial metrics, providing meaningful insights to our senior management,

Who are we looking for?

• Comfortable operating in ambiguity, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and working with senior executives to consistently deliver against deadlines,
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field plus 5+ years of experience in big consulting firm, private equity or investment banking,
• Proven ability to excel independently in a fast-paced and unconstrained environment with minimal guidance,
• In-depth knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, revenue recognition methodologies and financial analysis techniques,
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience with NetSuite and/or similar accounting/ERP platform,
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting data and insights to an executive audience.
