Job Description

Our client, a Hedge Fund managing $200B in assets, is seeking an FP&A Specialist to join their Finance Team in their New York City office. Ideally seeking individuals that can work in Manhattan 3-4 days/week and the rest working remotely from home.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
  • Support the Financial Planning and Analysis team in strategic decision-making and driving financial performance by developing, maintaining, and improve models
  • Collaborate with IT and finance to continue development of automated management reporting
  • Monitor and report on financial metrics, key performance indicators, and industry trends.
  • Data/input collection, upload to the internal system, and validation of all uploads


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance
  • Strong Excel and SAP skills
  • Strong understanding of financial markets
  • Prior experience in a hedge fund or financial services firm preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, multi-tasking and analytical skills


Benefits/Compensation:

  • Medical benefits
  • Hourly: $60-80, Annualized Equivalent: $120,000 - $150,000
  • Potential Discretionary Bonus
