The Headlines:
In the role of Finance Analyst working in our Chicago office, you will be a part of the Sales Finance team. The person will provide finance support to various functions within and outside finance for budgeting, planning/forecasting, reporting, and analysis in a variety of areas. This position reports to the Director, Sales Finance and works closely with our National Accounts (Grocery/Kroger) Sales organization and various finance teams.

The Responsibilities:
  • Understands and facilitates the integration of business processes, people, and relevant technology, to identify, configure, and communicate useful information, and to provide practical business counsel to support business decision making across the enterprise.
  • Demonstrates insightful use of financial analysis techniques, tools, and concepts, to provide practical counsel to business unit partners and to help drive business results
  • Seeks information from customers/business partners to identify and improve non-value-added practices.
  • Demonstrates appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls and applies them (as required for the position held) to provide objective, timely, and accurate financial information to meet / exceed regulatory and legislative requirements and to help drive business results.
The Qualifications:
  • You lead teams through resolving simple and complex issues to work towards project goals and deadlines.
  • Possesses good inter-personal skills, especially in handling contacts of all types and at all levels.
  • You have 2+ years of financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting experience.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Prior people management experience preferred
  • You have advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint, think-cell.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, MBA or Graduate Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • You build relationships and collaborate to get the desired outcome.
