We are writing to introduce our psychological thriller, "888." The movie follows a young man's journey of self-discovery as he confronts repressed memories of his adolescence. It takes a surreal twist as it delves deeper into his personal and familial history.
The film's genre is psychological thriller, and our target audience seeks out unique and innovative pieces of cinema that challenge them. What sets "888" apart from other movies in this genre is its gripping storyline, surreal experience, and a story that meditates on the human condition.
We are currently seeking support in three areas: funding, distribution, and production. Our budget is not yet set as we are still in the early development / pre-production phase and do not have a line producer. Our timeline is to begin filming in Q2 of 2024 (or) 2025, with post-production efforts starting in Q3.

Logline:
“888” is essentially a two-hour long therapy session intertwined into a cinematic experience as we unravel a story of a young man asking a therapist to help him uncover repressed memories about his adolescence. It is soon revealed the therapist is none other than his own mother speaking to her unborn child, and their sessions have been taking place inside her womb during labor complications. What follows is a surreal chronicle of birth, death, adolescence and adulthood as the young man must make a choice of if he wants to be born into this world...
