About the Student World Impact Film Festival:

The Student World Impact Film Festival (SWIFF) is the largest student film festival in the world, with over 15,000 submissions from 120 countries. The festival aims to showcase impactful films that address important social and environmental issues and inspire positive change. The festival provides a platform for emerging filmmakers to showcase their work, and for audiences to engage with the issues that matter most to them.

As a Festival Jury Intern, you will work independently to judge films by rating each film on different criteria we assign. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and evaluating film submissions based on pre-established criteria
  • Applying critical analysis skills to assess the effectiveness of the film in conveying its message and impact
  • Committing 5-10 hours per week to the internship


Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in film and social impact
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • May be currently enrolled in university/college, or high school, or have graduated from school
