Arts Production Specialist Jobs

Manage relationships with artists from concept to execution for curricular and student arts events.

Manage CFA’s master calendar including internal departmental calendars, public-facing calendars, and university scheduling software.

Hire, train, and manage student staff that provides onsite event support.

Strong interpersonal communication skills and budget management experience

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience in educational workshop planning and instruction a plus

5+ years of experience with analog and digital fabrication equipment and making/prototyping.

Experience providing safety and operations training in spoken and written form.

Experience in a supervisory role

Three (3) years of experience in a media related position.

Experience working with industry standard production and postproduction software and outputs for distribution.

Bachelor’s degree preferably in a media or related field.

Understanding of the film production and post production processes.

Experience working in higher education, government, health care, or other large, complex organizations.

Minimum two years of professional experience in communications, marketing, public relations, or journalism.

Experience using a website CMS, like Drupal or WordPress.

Experience creating and scheduling social media posts using tools like Meta Business Suite, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or other tools.

Experience creating and distributing email newsletters.

Experience contributing to and using a content calendar.

Experience and interest in creative use of social media and web content management systems preferred.

Knowledge of public relations and communications tactics, including internal and external communications, presentation skills, events, and marketing communications.

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Knowledge of copyediting and proofreading, and familiarity with editorial style.

Experience and interest in video production and branding preferred.

Knowledge of University academic programs, policies, and procedures desirable.

Strong organizational and project management abilities

Skill in organization and project management

Knowledge of local, state, and national policies and regulations related to education and fine arts

Knowledge and experience with personalized competency based learning

Support the Utah State Board of Education Strategic Plan and goals and strategies therein

Review fine arts endorsement applications, accompanying documents and evidence of competency to determine fulfillment of requirements
