The Field Supervisor position is a key position responsible for the timely, quality installation of our Patio Enclosures sunroom's. This position is responsible for making our customer’s project come to life and to ensure all products are installed accurately, in a timely manner and to the satisfaction of our valued customers. This role is split between office and field time.

JOB KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Experience in dealing with various trades and sub-contractors is a must
  • A positive, team-oriented, problem-solving approach to sales challenges/opportunities
  • Ability to measure, compute and order materials needed for a job
  • 4-8 years’ experience in carpentry and general construction


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet with customers to review difficult and/or complicated jobs or to solve difficult service problems.
  • Oversee performance of the crews and train them on proper procedures.
  • Evaluate performance and quality standards of sub-contractors. Know the “market value” of vendor products and sub-contractor services and make appropriate recommendations for costing to the Branch Manager.
  • Obtain Building Permits as required.
  • Conduct Measures and Breakouts.
  • Know proper installation procedures for all of Company products.
  • Ensure that crews know details of job to be installed and have loaded proper materials and equipment on truck.
  • Ensure that safety standards are reviewed and implemented.
  • As necessary, spend time in the field installing and/or training
  • Order materials from Company and/or local vendor(s). Seek out the best deals for the branch and advise Branch Manager accordingly.

Great Day Improvements LLC offers the successful candidate:
