Field Engineer - Construction
What we are looking for:
Aldridge is seeking a Field Engineer to assist, track, distribute and collate project specific information
- Ensure that Aldridge’s 5 Key Safety Elements are followed.
- Take direction from the Project Manager and work closely with other Field Engineers and field leaders.
Who you are:
- Pay close attention to detail
- Any construction experience
- Time management and communication skills
What you will do:
- Perform site surveys to gather data required to produce any site specific designs
- Examine the contract design plans and establish detail design requirements
- Assist in the training of other personnel as required by AE
- Produce engineering data such as design calculations; component specifications; equipment specifications, design investigations/reports
- Ability to estimate work contents in order to assist in contract resource and scheduling
- Direct CAD resource on related drawing production
- Produce engineering input of the design documentation
- Check and Approve drawings prior to release for submission and/or construction
- Produce complete design packages with limited supervision in accordance with industry practices
