The Field Engineer II (FE) is responsible for providing technical support to all customers and field personnel to obtain proper quality control and quality assurance. The FE II position is also responsible for mentoring Stimulation Technicians and FE I while on site.

Detailed Description:

• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Create fracturing monitoring software job files for each well
• Provide technical support to customers and Service Supervisors as needed
• Attend all site safety meetings
• Ensure job is being pumped to design
• Provide location updates to Universal team and customers using software tools
• Use modeling software for real-time data acquisition, frac designs, and analysis
• Set up OffSite Frac
• Calculate, track, and monitor proper quality control of inventory required for job
• Represent the Company and our values with integrity while maintaining the highest ethical and legal standards with all interactions
• Adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics
• Supervise all bucket testing required for the job

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work well with others and work independently when required
• Possess strong organizational skills and multi-task efficiently
• Willing to work extended schedules that may include days or nights, as well as weekends and holidays in different weather conditions
• Perform higher level algebraic calculations for job related purposes
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the job including but not limited to working on your feet, climbing ladders, working outdoors, and lifting
• Ability to travel as needed to other offices and work sites, occasionally requiring extended travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) outside normal office area
• Demonstrate clear communication skills including ability to read, write and speak English, and to promptly follow verbal and written directions in English along with the ability to establish and maintain effective rapport with all employees at different levels both in the office and in the field
• Demonstrate excellent computer skills with focus on Microsoft Excel and field software
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all designated times
• Demonstrate the ability to operate and maintain equipment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Petroleum, Mechanical, Mechanical Engineering Tech (MET), Chemical, or related field of study)
• Completion of CrossFlo Program (12-month Universal Engineering program) or 2+ years’ experience in fracing

Additional Details:

The Field Engineer II (FE) must work with an emphasis on individual safety and safety for others, including coworkers and third parties. This position requires working outdoors for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions typical of the area where the job is located, including dust, humidity, sleet, snow, rain, mud, cold, heat, wind, and other inclement weather. Working conditions for this position may involve exposure to varying outdoor conditions, including environmental chemicals, gases, noise, dampness, fumes, radiation, and heights.
