Fea Engineer Jobs

An FEA Engineer position is available courtesy of Akkodis.

This will be a 12-18+ month contract position that has the possibility of converting to a Salaried/Direct Hire position.

Rate Range: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Will work with design engineers to establish 2D and 3D FEA polymeric composite (PMC) models within ANSYS to assess mechanical design against design requirements.
• Conduct Stress Analysis Reviews and appropriate toll gate reviews to establish consensus in analytical deliverable.
• Will spend considerable time meshing intricate CAD models for the analysis.
• Use inputs from various teams inclusive of thermal, dynamics, and design to establish a model to be used for mechanical stress analysis. Conduct Stress Analysis Reviews and appropriate toll gate reviews to establish consensus in analytical.

Requirements:

• Able to work on Multiple models at the same time.
• 2-5 years of experience years of experience Stress Analysis.
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proficiency with ANSYS Classic.
• Preferred experience in Team center and NX.
• Be able to export into Hypermesh and do analysis in Ansys.
• Hardware/Software Knowledge needed.
• Know how to Mesh Models and follow procedures.
