Job Description
Salary: \$50,000.00 \$55,000.00 per year This is a full time position. Duties It\'s always an incredible day at the Wilder Child Development Center! It is the mission of the Child Development Center to provide exceptional care to children ages 16 months to Kindergarten for families from all backgrounds in the Greater St. Paul area. We partner with families in offering holistic support and ensuring that all children are afforded educational equity. The center supports a learning environment focused on the development of skills and support for each individual in meeting their goals and milestones. Our philosophy is based on the belief that all learning occurs within relationships. The Center promotes a trusting, respectful relationship between children, families, and teachers. We continually recognize the diverse needs, abilities, interests, and cultures in our setting, where each child and family is valued and respected as a contributor in the classroom environment. The Family Service Coordinator plays a pivotal role in implementing a whole-family approach to ensure the delivery of comprehensive health and social services to enrolled children and their families. With a strong focus on fostering family engagement, the Family Services Coordinator collaborates with Wilder Programs, community service partners, schools, and county departments to provide a holistic support system. The Family Services Coordinator actively assist families by providing information, education, and connections to vital community resources, such as mental health and education support, as well as childcare assistance. By offering support, empowerment, and advocacy, the coordinator guides parents and families through the complexities of service systems, facilitating their successful navigation. The Child Development Center is part of Wilder s Economic Stability and Aging Services (ESAS) division that focuses on stability and wellness throughout the lifespan, from prenatal to older adults. ESAS takes a culturally-responsive, strengths-based approach to serving people and their families through prenatal and early childhood education, housing and wealth creation, healthy aging, and community-focused school and family supports.
