Job Description

Responsibilities

This position has responsibility, in collaboration with the health care team and family, for the coordination of care for patients with autism or other psychiatric conditions. This includes promoting access to coordinated services within Seattle Children's and the community and empowering families through education and support and advocacy. #LI-JS2


Job Posting Addendum

This role will be roughly 40% remote and 60% on site at our hospital main campus in Seattle.

We are seeking a Family Advocate/Case Manager to join the Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). The Adolescent PHP is a new program offering high intensity services from 9am-3pm, Monday-Friday, at the main campus of Seattle Children's. The Adolescent PHP serves adolescents ages 13 to 17 with a variety of mental health problems who may be discharging from an inpatient psychiatry setting, or are being diverted from inpatient psychiatry admission after an emergency department mental health evaluation. There also may be cross training and coverage for additional psych programs beyond PHP. To help ensure equity in access to services, all team members are expected to be available at least one evening per week. Preferred candidates will have a commitment to learn and actively engage in anti-racist work and effort. Preferred candidates will additionally have a strong interest working with youth with suicidal thinking and significant behavioral challenges, and experience providing case management, care coordination and support to families.

  • Experience working with patients who have a diagnosis of Autism or other psychiatric conditions, and their families

Min to Max Hourly Salary$32. 43 - $48. 65 /hr


Min to Max Annual Salary$67,454.40 - $101,192.00 /yr


Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

Seattle Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
