Job Description
Description:

BUILDING COMPONENTS AND EQUIPMENT: Ensure that all building components and equipment are in good working condition by maintaining work orders in the Corrigo Work Order Network

  • Prepare and Present repair/replace analysis for building components or equipment to Facilities Manager when replacement may be necessary
  • Thoughtfully build, send, qualify, award project RFP’s
  • Work diligently with peers, suppliers, management and others to resolve any problems
  • Assist Facilities Manager in responding to emergency situations and help coordinate work to resolve as needed
  • Monitor, triage and assign work orders in Corrigo on a daily basis for rapid response times
  • Maintain all reports and records accurately in Corrigo

CONTRACTS: Ensure that facilities contracts adhere to schedules, pricing, scope of work, terms and conditions

  • Schedule + Validate Completion + Validate Invoices for all cyclical contracts and preventative maintenance including but not limited to: grease trap service, hood clean, fire alarm monitoring, fire safety inspections, security alarm monitoring, beverage gas, bulk oil, pest control, lawn maintenance, waste service, backflow inspections, cooking equipment, refrigeration, HVAC systems

FINANCE: Ensure that all invoices are reviewed and responded to timely

  • Approve R&M invoices up to $500 weekly
  • Review, Research or Dispute all R&M invoices weekly to ensure proper billing

TRAINING: Ensure that all restaurant staff are correctly and consistently following maintenance practices and procedures

  • Coach restaurant operators on how to maintain interior and exterior building components and equipment, troubleshoot problems, handle emergencies, and effectively use Corrigo

INSPECTIONS: Ensure a safe and healthy environment for our patrons and staff

  • Perform regularly scheduled cleaning inspections at each restaurant location
  • Identify areas of opportunity that may compromise safety and recommend solutions
  • Perform site visits as necessary for special projects or emergencies

This role is responsible for the life cycle of all work orders from creation to completion to final invoice. This role will make repair/replace recommendations and maintain accurate asset, work order and financial records for reliable reporting.


Hours and Work Environment:

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday.
  • Flexibility to periodically travel for overnight stay to restaurant locations in Texas
  • This role is based in our Austin offices with frequent field visits to Texas restaurants. **This is not a remote position*

Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Superior ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and demands simultaneously
  • Understand the basic functions of building systems including but not limited to fire safety system, security system, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing system, cooking equipment
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with a sense of urgency with all levels of management
  • Preferred working knowledge of Corrigo
  • Minimum 5+ years of restaurant experience in facilities maintenance or management
  • Contribute to a culture of rapid turnaround and extremely high attentiveness with partners
  • Strong desire to learn and welcoming of constructive criticism
  • Consistent, positive attitude and respect for high quality standards
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus
  • Capable of answering calls from after hour emergency hotline 7 days per month
  • Impeccable self-motivation, attention to detail, time-management and organization skills
