Executive VP - Marine And Industrial Power Systems Description


A leader in the marine and industrial power generation experience, is seeking an Executive Vice President. In this role, you will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for driving the overall success and growth of the business. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing strategies to expand market share, improve customer engagement, and enhance operational efficiency. You will oversee 5 locations across North and Central America and collaborate closely with the CEO to ensure the company's long-term sustainability and profitability.


Executive VP - Marine And Industrial Power Systems Responsibilities


  • Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team across various departments, including sales, customer service, technical support, and logistics. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that promotes employee growth and engagement.
  • Business Development: Lead efforts to grow the customer base and increase sales revenue. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and partners to foster business expansion.
  • Financial Management: Collaborate with the finance team to set budgets, financial targets, and performance metrics. Monitor financial performance, analyze data, and take proactive measures to ensure the achievement of revenue and profitability goals.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements. Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
  • Innovation and Product Development: Drive continuous improvement and innovation in product offerings. Collaborate with the product development team to identify and launch new products that align with market demands.
  • Marketing and Branding: Work with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and market presence. Leverage digital marketing, advertising, and social media channels to promote products and services.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Implement processes and systems to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and optimize inventory management.
  • Customer Focus: Maintain a strong customer-centric approach throughout the organization. Monitor customer feedback, address issues promptly, and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company's vision, mission, and long-term strategic plans. Monitor industry trends, identify new market opportunities, and create strategies to position the company as a market leader in the marine equipment sector.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports to the CEO and board of directors on key performance indicators (KPIs), market trends, and business insights. Use data-driven analysis to make informed decisions and optimize business strategies.
Executive VP - Marine and Industrial Power Systems Qualifications:


  • Knowledge of marine equipment products, technologies, and industry trends.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, someone that can bring executive strength and creativity to add more products/expand the business
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of sales, marketing, operations, and finance (strong P&L oversight).
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully leading and growing a business unit or company (Turnaround experience is preferred).
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, is preferred. An MBA is a plus.
  • Proven experience (at least 10 years) in a senior management role within the industrial or marine power generation industry or Oil & Gas.
