Job Description

Objective: The Executive Director is responsible for serving the needs of MOASD and its physicians by developing and implementing strategy to drive extensive and sustainable growth. The Executive Director will advise on long-term business and financial planning that contributes to the overall success of the organization. The ED will also be responsible for providing leadership to the Director of Clinical Services and Director of Operations.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions
  • Collaborate with accounting, RCM, and payor relations teams to review and approve all new insurance contracts and renewals.
  • Proactively build and foster business relationships with partners, payors, and hospital systems.
  • Develop strong rapport and provide effective leadership, guidance, and support to direct reports.
  • Achieve and support strong financial health of the organization to position for future growth and success.
  • Collaboration with Payor Relations team to drive contract management and Value Based Care programs.
  • Key driver in expanding the geographic footprint of the practice.
  • Develop sound infrastructure for growth.
  • Promotes and contributes positively to inter-departmental issue resolution.
  • Physician relationship management and support across practice related to initiatives.
  • Ensure budget development & adherence in partnership with OneOncology.
  • Develop strong rapport with both physicians and staff to promote a culture of inclusiveness and collaboration.
  • Lead ventures on behalf of organization to drive strategic growth.
  • Develop and sustain effective marketing program for organization.
  • Spearhead Business Development for organization.
  • Effectively completes other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Drive a culture of integrity and honesty that focuses on quality patient care and experience.
  • Strategic planning & initiative development, in partnership with OneOncology Operations Leadership.
  • Demonstrate effective communication with physicians and staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Ensure regulatory and compliance in accordance with industry standards.

Pay Range
$165,000 - $175,000 annual salary, plus bonus eligible based of performance metrics.
Experience, Qualifications, Education
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or another relevant field.
  • Proven track record of operating effectively in a complex decision-making setting.
  • Thorough knowledge of modern leadership principles, practice, and methods is required.
  • Experienced in cancer services preferred.
  • Strong and effective communication and relationship development skills suitable to leading a diverse group of individuals at all levels and outside partners.
  • Minimum five years of proven executive level leadership experience in a large specialty medical group or community-based cancer center.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with tack, objectivity, sensitivity, and good judgement when interacting with patients, referring offices, providers, staff, and all others from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Establish and maintain professional and productive working relationships within the organization.
  • Thrive in a busy fast paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Hearing acuity to converse with staff and customers in person and by phone.
  • Visual acuity to read a computer screen and paper documents; close and distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
  • Proficiency in computer processing functions, software and other standard office equipment.
  • Ability to effectively work, collaborate, and prioritize tasks independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to calmly and professionally resolve issues with diplomacy and tact.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, reach with hands, and lift and move 10 pounds on a regular basis, and up to 25 pounds occasionally; ability to sit for hours at a time.
Working Conditions
This position functions indoors in a medical/business environment. Employee will be exposed to moderate noise levels and interruptions. Visual acuity to read and compute screen and paper documents; close and distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception, ability to adjust focus; hearing acuity to converse with staff and customers. Ability to sit for hours at a time. Employee will be exposed to moderate noise levels and interruptions.
