We are looking for a dynamic, talented Executive Director Global Integrated Services to join our team specializing in Security, Facilities, Aviation and Hospitality for our Corporate Business Segment headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role is designated hybrid and requires less than 25% overall travel.


The Executive Director of Global Integrated Services (GIS) organizes and directs various operational functions of Cummins Inc., including Facilities, Real Estate, Security, Aviation, and Hospitality. The Executive Director ensures that the GIS team creates the right environment to deliver the Cummins experience and provides the highest possible quality, safety, and service while maintaining cost-effective operations. In addition, the Executive Director ensures the implementation of system-wide strategic initiatives, policies, and a safe and efficient physical environment and uses process tools to help identify problems and develop effective resolutions.


In this role, the Executive Director of Global Integrated Services will make an impact in the following ways:


  • Establishes and leads the organization's global strategy for all aspects of GIS; communicates strategies and drives implementation.
  • Recruits, selects, develops, manages, motivates, coaches, and mentors directors, and managers; provides guidance and direction on problems and issues; delegates work assignments considering employee skills and development needs.
  • Directs the annual operating plan process for the GIS organization; ensures appropriate management of the annual operating plan.
  • Ensures diversity, inclusion, and equity are embedded in the team culture, processes, and work outputs.
  • Fosters and ensures alignment with business leaders and internal business customers.
  • Drives continuous improvement working across business units and functions to recognize efficiencies for the entire organization.
  • Anticipates, identifies, and solves unique and complex problems for the corporation.
  • Develops and maintains strong strategic vendor relationships; directly manages the relationship with global providers; maintains an understanding of the latest trends and newest tools and services available.

Strategic Vision with the Ability to Execute: Developing and executing plans and projects that enable and support Cummins’s business strategies while balancing the trade-offs between operational risk, culture, and investment. Seeing ahead to future possibilities and translating them into breakthrough strategies.


Executive Presence: Ability to develop a trusted advisor relationship with senior leaders, including clear and concise communications, and to provide candid advice and optionality.


Education/ Licenses, Certifications


  • Bachelor of Science, Business, required
  • MBA, MSA or JD highly preferred


Compensation And Benefits


Base salary range: $225,000-$375,000. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
