Title: Event Program Manager

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 3 month W2 contract, probable to extend

This role is specific to the Employee Experience at our events, playing a critical role in implementing employee staffing for Salesforce's paid customer events. This position will work closely with stakeholders across various global work streams from all departments. This position will support the planning of employee participation & housing for our spring events. The role is responsible for making sure all staffing tool details are executed effectively and supporting the housing team with housing contracts, as needed.


Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):


* Manage timeliness and accuracy of all staffing deliverables


* Work cross-functionally with workstream leads; Campground team, Area Leads, Community team, Exec Programs/SIC, etc to determine their internal onsite staffing needs


* Partner closely with our Event Technology team on the build, functionality, and testing of the staffing tool* Moderate employee communication Slack Channels


* Track relevant metrics according to KPIs aligned to the Operations Center of Excellence


* Perform audits and reporting to monitor staffing and ensure employee compliance


* Support the housing team with 2024 contracting across our event portfolio


* Other duties as assigned



Knowledge and Skill Requirements:


* 2+ years successful event registration, project management, operations experience


* Experience supporting staffing and/or employee engagement for large events, preferably in a high-tech environment


* Creative mindset and ability to come up with unique solutions


* Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional project and time management skills


* Exceptional communications skills and experience working in a highly cross-functional organization


* Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with complex requirements, competing priorities, and last minute changes


* Adept at working on multiple projects at once, setting priorities, working independently, problem solving, improvising, and functioning as part of a team that often must perform under pressure


* Self-starter who can prioritize workload in a strict deadline-oriented environment


* Ability to manage up on tasks and communication out to the team, know when to ask for help


* Willingness to take on additional tasks and roles with a "can-do” attitude


* Able to live with organizational ambiguity


* Knowledge of GSuite, Slack, and RainFocus is preferred. Experience with Quip is a plus
