Job Description

Event and Sales Coordinator


Tune Outdoor has launched an innovative, lightweight truck camper in Denver, CO focused on outdoor enthusiasts. You will hit the ground running with the founders in a team environment. This key role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, attending and managing events to promote the launch product - the Tune M1 - and brand. It will be fast-paced and you will have as much responsibility and accountability as you want and can manage. Culture is results-oriented and flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Manage top-of-funnel, front-end consumer communications within Hubspot (social media) and direct leads generated from events.
  • Source and manage appropriate location(s) for the event including contract review and negotiation
  • Manage phone, website inquiry and other consumer touch points; measure outcomes, summarize in business cycle (weekly) and recommend and manage team consensus tactical levers.
  • Work to define the consumer decision tree with the team; assess and manage all consumer inquiries, following the decision tree; add consumer info to CRM and pull reports to track Tune touch points, consumer demographics and measure Tune engagement process.
  • Source and manage all required vendors for events including contract review and negotiation
  • Train, supervise, and work with event staff to reflect company service standards and procedures.
  • Manage our Eventbrite calendar, Google Events calendar and all posts related to our events on social media to maximize event impact and sales.
  • Act as the manager for events, overseeing all aspects of event planning and coordination including participant schedules and trip plans and attend events as needed.
  • Manage the Tune Ambassador/Tech Rep Program and own all aspects: manage communication and calendars; field inquiries; handle issues; drive consensus with team as needed; measure budget and resource allocation; drive consensus strategy and tactics for ambassadors.
  • Create and determine budgets for events with CEO/COO approval.
  • Work irregular hours, evening, holidays, and weekends as required, to ensure proper supervision of assigned events and activities scheduled with Tune.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement effective marketing plans for generating event revenue
  • Create and present relevant event reports for the Leadership Team to measure impact of event marketing.
  • Create and determine themes for consumer events (brewery, pop-up, outdoor show) so that we stay fresh, new and engaging with consumers.

Qualifications

  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team skills with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners, event attendees, donors and Tune customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Work experience as an event coordinator
  • The ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities surrounding these events.
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills

  • The ability to work independently on projects managing these events, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Well-developed organizational skills
  • Proficient in Google Workplace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, and Slides), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms, iPhones, iPads, Apps (Hubspot a +)

Job Type:

  • Full-time


Pay:

  • $52,000-$62,500
