Erp Business Consultant/Project Manager (Remote)

Job Summary Travis County currently runs SAP ERP for most financial, procurement, and human resource processes. Over the next five (5) years Travis County plans to migrate these operations to SAP's next generation of products (S/4HANA, Ariba, and SuccessFactors). Travis County Auditor's office is seeking a senior ERP Business Consultant with project management experience to help direct and oversee the implementation/migration of these software projects. This Business Consultant will first build the migration roadmap together with the team to be followed by the leadership role of project manager for the migration projects. After the migrations have been completed, this position will be responsible for continuous improvement projects to the financial, procurement, and human resource software. Travis County offers a flexible work schedule and work environment that is primarily remote. Applicant must reside or be willing to relocate to Travis County or the surrounding area. This full-time position is part of the SAP Support Team within the County's Auditor's Office. Travis County is a $1 billion local government organization with approximately 6,000 employees. • Extensive experience with ERP systems; preferably finance, procurement, and/or HCM
• Manage and direct internal and external resources to ensure timely rollout of deliverables. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, business administration or related field. Seven (7) years or more of relevant work experience, including implementation and support of any ERP system preferably SAP; Master's Degree and/or certification in related field may equate to two (2) years of professional experience. At least one (1) year of management, supervisory or team lead experience. At least one project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, ACP, MPM is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
