ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The successful candidate will join an experienced administrative team and work closely with the director of equity and inclusion. The candidate will perform a variety of assignments in relation to the equity and inclusion strategy, with a special focus on communication and coordination within the Office of Executive Management, Equity and Inclusion (EI), across all government departments, and collaborating local and state agencies. Responsibilities include applying best practices of process management to research and analyze methods in the areas organizational diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); tracking execution of equity and inclusion action plans, extracting key insights from quantitative and qualitative data with key takeaways and next steps to incorporate into reports, briefings, action plans, and other related documents; evaluating new policies, standard order of procedures, and community service initiatives with the use of equity tools to determine DEI impact on the County and departments, clear verbal and written communications to a variety of stakeholders; managing the EI Annual Report. *Majority telework around 80%.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and 7 years of hands-on DEI experience with synthesizing research or related experience.
PREFERENCES: Working knowledge of organizational DEI research and analysis methods of practice, interpreting and extracting comprehensive insights from multiple data sources to identify program priorities, anti-discrimination laws. excellent interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, the public.
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Main office hours 9 – 5:30 PM
ENTRY SALARY RANGE: $79,009.00 – $96,452.00 Annually
