Planning & Urban Design, Inc. is a private consulting firm located in downtown Seattle. The firm was founded in 2009 to build consensus and unlikely coalitions around complex issues. We envision vibrant, just and sustainable communities, and specialize in inclusive process, consensus facilitation, organizational development, and place management. At any time, we have 20-30 projects with public and nonprofit clients, including public decisions; strategic plans; culturally responsive placemaking; public and stakeholder engagement; downtown and neighborhood place management; race and equity facilitation; and master plans. We have immediate need for an experienced professional to play a key role in the firm’s overall portfolio of Equity & Engagement work, as well as day-to-day workflow. The practice lead will coordinate an array of activities involving diverse communities, cultures, and identities with a particular focus on building relationships with underserved communities. Successful candidates will also be ready to grow this line of work through new clients, new projects, and new geographies. The company has a strong culture of transparency, flexibility, equity, and open communication. Salary for this position will depend on experience but is likely $100,000 to $120,000 annually.
