Environmental Data Management Technician – Entry Level (Hybrid)

Summary:

Barr is seeking an environmental data management technician. The person in this position will work primarily in the environmental database, EQuIS, with a heavy emphasis in Microsoft Excel. Assigned work tasks may include entering data into the EQuIS database; manually checking data thoroughly against original documents; entering geologic data and producing boring logs; producing charts and reports; performing advanced formulas and functions in Microsoft Excel; following processes set by data management department; and discussing data and projects with other data management staff.

A hybrid work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid work arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office. This position can be based out of Barr's Minneapolis, Minnesota; Duluth, Minnesota; or Hibbing, Minnesota offices.
