Entry-Level Civil/Structural Engineer (Overhead Transmission Lines)

POWER Engineers is currently seeking an Entry-Level Civil/Structural Engineer to work in its Power Delivery Overhead Transmission Line Department in Freeport, Maine and can be hybrid/WFH office possibility. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of transmission line design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions.

Required Education/Experience

• Experience using the Microsoft Office software suite
• BSCE (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering) degree from an accredited university
• The candidate must have a strong command of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external client personnel

Desired Education/Experience

• Ideal coursework includes structural analysis, concrete design, steel design, soil mechanics, foundation design, and surveying
• Previous engineering design or drafting work experience, especially if related to civil and/or structural engineering, is desirable
• Engineer In Training (EIT) registration is desired
• Minimum 2.75 Grade Point Average (GPA)

The candidate selected for this position may work remotely full time at a location other than a POWER Engineers designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a POWER office for periodic meetings.

Salary DOE: The pay range for this position is $68K-$72K per year; however, base pay may be higher or lower depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This figure does not include additional compensation such as health benefits, vacation, 401k, etc.
