Cost Accountant – $60,000 - $85,000 + Benefits – Jacksonville, IL

At CCK Automations, we're manufacturers of Printed Circuit Boards, Injection Molding Products and custom electrical panels. We're seeking a Cost Accountant who can adeptly monitor, analyze, and report the financial aspects of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate cost calculation and proper valuation of inventory in a standard cost environment. The position will also contribute to improving operational efficiency, profitability, and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end closing responsibilities to include preparation of monthly journal entries and account reconciliations as assigned by the Controller or CFO
• Conduct periodic reviews of cost drivers and allocation methods to ensure alignment with industry best practices and business goals.
• Analyze production costs, including material, labor, overhead, and other expenses, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide cost-related inputs for product pricing strategies and profitability analysis.
• Develop and maintain standard costing methodologies for various product lines.
• Prepare and analyze cost reports, variance analysis, and cost estimates on a regular basis.

The Person

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 5-7 years’ experience in Cost Accounting.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
