Lingua Language Center seeks LOCAL candidates/applicants who are willing to teach both online and in person in a hybrid model. Lingua offers a very competitive pay rate to language instructor contractors, compared to other language schools in Florida. Likewise, Lingua’s compensation for translators and interpreters is competitive worldwide.

Lingua Language Center welcomes the opportunity to hire qualified instructors to enrich its faculty. We seek instructors with initiative, efficiency, motivation and flexibility, who also have excellent teaching skills and native proficiency in the language(s) taught such as verbal communication, grammar and structures. Instructors are also required to have the ability to gain the interest of students in active practice, assess student needs, keep organized lesson plans, manage assessment and evaluation forms, attendance rosters, include extracurricular supplemental material, plan and participate in holiday and special events to further student learning.
Lingua is currently hiring faculty for all its language training programs in the tri-county South Florida areas of Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach. Please submit your résumés, credentials and references to the Academic Department.
Faculty Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in another field: at least three years of teaching experience and a TESOL/CELTA Endorsement (this endorsement is required for English instructors only, with degrees in non-related fields, foreign language instructors with degrees in non-related fields must show 3 years of teaching experience in the target language).
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Modern Languages (or a degree in a target language such as Spanish, French, etc.), Applied Linguistics and/or Literature, English, Education.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, creative and dynamic classroom presence, detail-oriented.
- Master’s degrees or Ph.D.
At this time, we look for LOCAL teachers for face-to-face classes who live in areas near our centers. Teachers for online classes, please refrain from applying.
