We are seeking an Engineering Team Lead for Life Sciences Process Automation , to directly and indirectly manage a team of engineering, project management, administrative and design personnel to achieve revenue, gross margin, customer satisfaction index targets and other business objectives. You will manage a multi-disciplined team to deliver projects on time and in / under budget. Additionally, you will manage team resource planning such as assigning direct reports to projects, assessing staffing levels and utilization.

What You Will Do

• Oversees process improvement activities within relevant business scope
• Understands Rockwell delivery method and thorough understanding of Life Science industry.Will work closely with Project Management team.
• Oversees customer's requirements as defined by project scope of work and the development of system solution (PlantPAx) and its applicable control configuration/architecture
• Responsible for technical delivery of projects within Industry segment to meet budget, quality and standards expectations.
• Supports and helps implement business wide strategies including supporting delivery standard improvements.
• Develops and executes industry / application team plan to meet business strategy
• Leads team through project assignment and coordination to engage in delivery projects.Responsible to assure team is utilized on project work.
• Coaches, mentors and guides direct report technical team to support project delivery through leverage standards and developing skills. Supports team in career growth.
• Actively contributes to the development of business team strategic plan

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Life Science Engineering or a related discipline.
• Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven success at simultaneously managing multiple customer projects
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of Life Sciences Process Automation experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of people management experience.
• Extensive experience with direct customer contact and suppliers
• Extensive experience with control systems application

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
