About this opportunity

Reporting to our Senior Consultants you will build your engineering knowledge base to become a Professional Engineer and Certified Energy Manager. Very quickly you will be given a high degree of responsibility and autonomy to support project delivery to our industrial customer base, including food & beverage, forestry products and manufacturing sectors.

Applying your technical and problem solving expertise, you will support:

• P&IDs, CAD drawings and project documentation generation.
• Energy Management Information System (EMIS) software integration.
• Process optimization and loss reduction initiatives.
• Lean Manufacturing software deployment and integration
• Energy, utility and resource conservation studies and projects.

Location

Chicago base, with travel across US.

Key attributes and skills

• Ability to confidently communicate technical information effectively to various audiences in presentations and your technical report writing, planning and organizational skills are excellent.
• A desire to gain deep technical knowledge relating to industrial energy, resource conservation and process optimization.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and strive to exceed client expectations.
• Thrive in a customer-facing role, in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent PC skills, especially MS Excel, with software development beneficial.
