Elementary Principal Jobs

This position is for Victor Point and Evergreen Elementary Schools, which are two K-8 schools just outside of Silverton. They have a combined enrollment of just under 300 kids.

Candidates must:

• Have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team toward improved academic growth and student/family engagement
• Must have or qualify for an Oregon Administrative License.
• Possess a good sense of humor and a positive attitude
• Demonstrate a high level of honesty, integrity and fairness
• Use positive communications, good listening skills, and have the ability to function as a facilitator of genuine dialogue
• Have the ability to implement professional development for administrators, teachers, and staff that is relevant and meaningful; demonstrate knowledge of, and experience with Danielson Framework for Teaching, PBIS, Break Through Coaching, Standards-based instruction and grading, Professional Learning Communities, Data driven decision making and Oregon graduation requirements
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills with diverse populations
• Possess high energy and stamina, a bright mind, and demonstrated firmness tempered with compassion.
