Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electronics Security Technician to join our team! In this role you will get to administer and maintain their Fixed Site Sustainment (FSS) contract at multiple Military Operating Bases (MOB) throughout the Continental Unites States (CONUS)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Inspecting equipment for signs of wear, cracked/frayed cabling, and loose cable connections
• Performing routine inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they occur
• Scheduling repairs or requesting quotes from vendors for prices to complete repair work.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning ESS equipment, replacing parts, and performing minor repairs.
• Coordinating with the Project Management Office and Customer regarding potential issues, such as design problems, requiring engineering support.
• Maintaining inventory of parts and supplies to ensure they are always available.
• Troubleshooting ESS equipment or processes to identify the source of the issue.
• Maintaining and repairing tools and equipment used in ESS Maintenance and Services (M&S) and Corrective M&S.
• Performs preventive maintenance functions as directed, including but not limited to:
• Maintains required performance and maintenance records utilizing the government-supplied inventory tracking and work order database for identified equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance inspections and services on ESS equipment to ensure safe monitoring of the facilities.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bosch CCTV - Training/Experience for camera installation | Certification for VMS preferred
• X Series Combination Locks - Certification
• Heintzmann barriers - Training/Experience
• Identiv Hirsch Velocity (IDS and ACS) - Certification
• Pelco CCTV - Training/Experience for camera installation | Certification for VMS preferred
• Other IDS, ACS, or CCTV systems certifications considered
• Nasatka barriers - Training/Experience

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• A major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, or;
• A bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience, or;
• 11 years of recent specialized experience
• Additionally, the technicians must possess at least two years of experience in electronics maintenance and experience with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), intrusion detection systems (IDS, automated access control systems (ACS), and basic networking.
• An associate degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, or;

Salary Range:

$28.51 - $49.90
