Description:
Work with technical assistance and guidance. Work with progressively less guidance and instruction as knowledge, skill, and experience in classification increases.Read and follow production/service order work instructions, to include reading and interpreting design disclosure engineering documentation, (blueprints, Weapon Specifications, Ordnance Documents, redline drawing, sketches, etc.). Read and follow Manufacturing Process Standards, Assembly Methods Instructions, Quality Notification dispositions and any other shop floor documentation required to fabricate, assemble, rework/repair electronic modules, packages, flex circuits, and associated ancillary mechanical components.
Use all materials, tools, measuring devices, and equipment necessary to complete jobs such as module assembly, module installation, soldering, component removal & replacement, wire-wrap, adhesive mixing, application, connector assembly, contact/wire crimping, insertion, extraction, conformal coat (spray painting), package cleaning, and fastener torqueing.
Assist in and/or perform work with engineering to evaluate assembly and refurbishment processes and procedures. Recommend new methods, processes, or procedures to improve product quality, quality assurance, quality control, and assembly efficiency.
Basic Qualifications:
Must have the ability to read and understand shop documentation used during the performance of job duties.
Possess good mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and the ability to use all tools, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the job.
Skilled in the use of computers and ability to learn new computer applications.
Ability to qualify for and maintain certifications/qualifications and/or licenses to perform assigned duties.
Willingness to work alternate shifts and overtime as required.
Typically requires (1) year Practical work experience associated with the assembly of electronic modules, circuit boards, and packages.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with inspection practices and procedures.
Strong Safety Mindset
Possess good interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
