Position Summary:
Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on mechanical assembly of units.
Electro-mechanical assembly of electronic camera related products, including engineering prototypes, pre-production, and production assemblies. Work Environment is Manufacturing/Assembly environment.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist Manufacturing Engineering in the creation, development and revision of assembly documentation as required
  • Responsible for building a variety of automotive cameras
  • Verify kits and parts are complete and correct
  • Some low-level testing maybe required.
  • Assemble mechanical products in accordance with manufacturing documentation (assembly instructions, travelers, configuration logs, etc)
  • Verify accuracy of finished assemblies and data to provide quality output
  • Process assembly using a variety of materials (adhesives, coatings, epoxies, etc)
Position Qualifications:
  • Collaboration & Teamwork required to successfully interface with team members to maximize team efforts and productivity.
  • Flexibility is required to quickly adapt to changing requirements and workload re-prioritization.
  • Attention to Detail is required to ensure conscientiousness related to the quality of work, to ensure that assemblies are completed with, precision, accuracy, thoroughness and orderliness.
  • Communication Skills-Oral, Listening & Written are required to communicate effectively with members of the Test Team, Manufacturing, and Engineering departments.
  • Continuous Learning required in order staying abreast of new assembly approaches, tools, and methodologies.
  • Initiative: Displays strong personal initiative and motivation to achieve desired performance results with minimal direction or supervision.
Knowledge and Experience in the following are desired:
  • Ability to work from written instructions, wiring diagrams, etc.
  • Manual dexterity, ability to work with small parts for extended amounts of time
  • Harness wiring
  • ISO policies and procedures
  • Mechanical Assembly
  • Hand soldering
  • Assembly of electro-mechanical components with related tooling
  • ESD procedures

Salary Range:
$35,090.00 - $58,630.00
