Electronic Technician Jobs

Key Role:

Conduct assembly and fabrication of electrical, electronic, or mechanical components or equipment, including the operations of mechanical machinery, calibration equipment, power tools, and electronic tooling. Apply industry and organizational knowledge to programs and projects. Apply standard policies, procedures, and practical application of the general and technical aspects of the job to complete assignments. Work under general supervision. Complete routine work under no instruction, with general instructions given for new assignments.

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to analyze engineering drawings to determine the electronic fabrication requirements and layout of electronic assemblies
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• 5+ years of experience as an Electronic Technician
• Experience with electronic assembly fabrication, including wiring harnesses, electronic circuit boards, and integration of electronic components
• HS diploma or GED
• Knowledge of electronic component fabrication and assembly

Additional Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and coordinate with client engineers
• Secret clearance
• Experience with Navy or Marine Corps Expeditionary
• J-STD, IPC 610 or 620 Certification
• Experience with building multi-level circuit boards
• Knowledge of the design of electronic systems and components

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
