Job Description
About The Position


Our client, a pioneering space robotics company, is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join their Lunar Surface Systems Department. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advancing rover development efforts and expanding the company's portfolio of innovative solutions in space. The Electrical Engineer will work in a collaborative environment with high degrees of freedom, responsibility, and expectations, and will contribute to the company's mission of making space accessible to the world as a commercial platform.


Qualifications


  • Highly interpersonal skillset and demonstrated ability to thrive in a strong cross-functional team environment
  • 1-5 years of experience designing, developing, and testing hardware in robotics, aerospace, or renewable energy industry
  • Proficient with test equipment (DMM, oscilloscope, power supplies, power meters, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences, or related discipline from an accredited college or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience designing board layouts
  • Proficient with circuit simulation and mixed analog/digital circuits


Requirements


  • Knowledge of developing test procedures for electronics (desired)
  • Experience/Interest with inverter design is a plus
  • Knowledge of Linux (desired)
  • Experience decomposing requirements (desired)
  • Knowledge of C/C++ programming language (desired)
  • Experience with MIL-STD-461 or similar (desired)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
  • Experience in an Agile work environment (desired)
  • Experience/Interest with battery/solar powered systems is a plus
  • Experience with Altium (desired)
  • Experience/Interest with AC circuits (3-phase) is a plus
