Electrical Engineer Jobs

We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our Consulting Engineering Firm located in Lansdale, PA. We are currently looking for an experienced, Electrical Engineer to help us grow our firm and provide high quality design work to our clients. The position requires:

• Experience with SKM Power Tools Software is a plus.
• A firm working knowledge of the National Electrical Code and a familiarity with applications of single-phase and three-phase power systems.
• The ability to work with other team members and communicate effectively with clients.
• Skills must include the ability to develop detailed electrical single line diagrams.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and SCADA systems is a plus.
• Technical proficiency in the areas of sizing raceways and conductors, circuit protective devices. Must be familiar with low and medium voltage systems, as well as specifying and selecting electrical equipment.
• Drawing preparation includes single line drawings, floor plans, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, Elementary wiring diagrams for control of equipment and systems, details of various types for installation and construction
• The use of AutoCAD to prepare drawings.
• The ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel to prepare and edit specifications in CSI format for equipment and systems.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Professional Engineer License a plus
