Job Description

Ainsley Search Group is hiring for a Electrical Design Engineer to join a Global OEM located in the Bucks County. This OEM specialized in manufactured automated Motion Control Products. This individual will be responsible for design of PCB, Servo, Motor, Invertor, Microprocessor, Microcontroller for the New Product Development. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with lucrative compensation, bonus, and competitive benefit.


Responsibilities:

*Evaluate electrical systems for the control unit, engineer and design electrical/electronic hardware for new product development, conduct conceptual design and development of motor, hardware, circuit board layout, Inverter, microprocessor and microcontroller.

*Develop electrical drawing using AutoCAD and Solidworks, create BOM for new design, work with R&D to develop test plan.

*Conduct new product prototyping, document testing result and conduct FEA, research root cause and further modify electrical design.

*Collaborate with R&D for testing regarding environmental safety, heat transfer, and tolerance, further develop new electrical/electronic design based on test result to improve product performance.

*Embedded software application design for microprocessor, microcontroller, analog and digital real time systems using C, Labview, Visual Studio or Visual Basic.

*Provide technical support to Engineering, Customers, Production, and Quality departments, troubleshoot product malfunction, trace root cause regarding production failure and malfunction, support corrective and preventive action across R&D, Testing, and Manufacturing to reduce failure ratio and improve efficiency.

*Document design and product portfolio, write product documentation including product design, specification, project log, test reports, instruction manual, and design evaluation.


Qualifications:

*bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering, electronics Engineering, or other technical fields

*Recent years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer or Electrical Engineer for new product development within manufacturing or OEM industries, exposure to high-voltage AC/DC Motor development is a plus.

*Solid design background for motor, servomotor, power supplies, microprocessor, microcontroller, inverter, Circuit Board, Analog, digital systems, etc.

*knowledge in embedded software development for C, C++, Labview, Visual Studio or Visual Basic.

*Knowledge in heavy industrial process control and application within Oil, Gas, Power, Water, Wastewater, Cement, or similar industries.

*Solid knowledge in R&D, product testing, prototyping and FEA/FAT process.
