Job Description
About The Position


Our client, a pioneering space robotics company, is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join their Avionics subsystem team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, fabricating, and testing hardware avionics and electronics components for the Griffin lunar lander, a project selected by NASA to return America to the Moon.


Qualifications


  • Rapid prototype development skills
  • Proficient in schematic and board design using software like Altium, Eagle, OrCAD, or similar
  • B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics hardware development
  • Experience in military or aerospace environments


Requirements


  • Capable of programming embedded systems, FPGAs, microcontrollers, computer processors, graphic processors, or similar
  • Digital, analog, and signal conditioning design skills
  • Experience in developing spacecraft electronics systems for an unmanned spacecraft or similar
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Knowledgeable of Range Safety and Ground Safety electronics compliance
