Job Description
Are you passionate about academic research and eager to be part of a dynamic team that drives the peer review process for an esteemed academic journal? We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Editorial Assistant for the Review of Economics and Statistics.
About Us
We are dedicated to advancing knowledge and fostering innovation in the field of economics and statistics. As an Editorial Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of hundreds of paper submissions through the peer review process.
Role And Responsibilities
You will work closely with the Senior Publications Coordinator and have a variety of administrative and production responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Sending review requests and timely follow-ups to referees, ensuring a seamless review process.
Assisting referees by providing prompt responses to their queries and requests.
Preparing decision letters, ensuring clear and concise communication with authors.
Ensuring compliance with the journal's style guidelines in final versions and publication-related materials.
Maintaining the online Data Archive to ensure accessibility and organization.
Archiving valuable manuscripts for future reference.
Taking part in exciting special projects that contribute to the journal's growth and impact.
Preferred Qualifications
