Why You’ll Love This Role

This is a dynamic and exciting position with great possibilities for personal and career growth. This role is two-fold. Firstly, it involves creative and out-of-the-box thinking. You’ll work closely with Founders to create strategies for video ads that will help scale their accounts. The other side of this role is executing these strategies from end to end by creating and editing content.

Your success in this role will be determined by performance metrics, and the ultimate measure of success would be to achieve various viral concepts.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and creative abilities.
• Must be able to work on-site in our Soho, New York office and commute daily Mon-Fri.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with motion graphics, visual effects, and color grading is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
• Proficiency in video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and/or other relevant tools such as Capcut, iMovie, or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of mostly iPhone video production principles, including composition, storytelling, and pacing and a beginning to medium understanding of this using more sophisticated equipment.

Your Duties & Responsibilities

• Continuously conduct proactive research on social media trends, video production techniques, and platform changes to continuously improve video editing skills.
• Produce and edit videos for TikTok, Instagram, YouTue Shorts, and Facebook to create impactful videos with a focus on driving sales.
• Generate original concepts and angles for captivating video ads for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook.
• Trim, rearrange, and enhance footage with transitions, effects, and graphics.
• Adhere to a strict approval process and incorporate feedback and revisions to deliver final videos that meet client expectations.
• Analyze performance data to inform future ad strategies and demonstrate measurable improvements over time to inform content creation and optimization for maximum engagement and virality.
• Collaborate with our creative team, including strategists, designers, ad buyers, and project managers.
• Research and identify models/talent for content creation.
• Brainstorm with the creative strategist to develop ideas for viral videos.

• Utilization of industry-standard video editing tools, including Adobe Premiere Pro and other relevant software.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Trello, Asana, Monday, etc., to facilitate effective project organization and collaboration.
• Hard Skills:
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects for video editing.
• Proficiency in utilizing Google Drive infrastructure, including working with PowerPoint, Spreadsheets, Docs, and accessing/sharing/upload/download of files in the Drive.
• Understanding and proficiency in using Google Calendar for efficient scheduling and time management.
