JOB TITLE: E-Commerce Manager

REPORTS TO: Director of Acquisitions and ECommerce

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

Habitat LA is seeking an E-Commerce Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Ecommerce Department, ensuring that it runs smoothly and effectively. The duties include training and development of staff, developing promotional strategies, tracking, and development of staff, developing promotional strategies, tracking department performance providing analysis, and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales. This job does include both administrative and physical labor in a high-paced hybrid office and warehouse environment.

On average, the affiliate builds and renovates 100 homes in the Los Angeles region each year, ranking it among the largest affiliates nationwide.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Managing and/or physically involved with unloading or moving inventory around the warehouse, and on company or transport vehicles.
• Directly manages and oversees the execution of weekly promotional strategies both for social media, website, and email campaigns.
• Managing and/or physically involved in preparing products to be photographed and creating accurate listings on the appropriate platform for posting online.
• Ensuring department functions are efficiently and accurately executed daily to support a consistent online shopping experience.
• Includes enforcing expectations for daily department responsibilities to be met through effective communication and accountability.

SUMMARY OF JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Although no longer required, we strongly encourage all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and will continue to require all employees to submit their vaccination status by the date of hire.
• Well-developed understanding of data analysis as well as website metrics
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, lift test and a criminal background check
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Shopify/E-bay experience is a plus.
• Must have access to reliable transportation and a valid CA Drivers License, and meet the state-required amount of personal automobile liability insurance.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage shifting priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

COMPENSATION:

$26.44- $31.25
