DuPont’s Tralee Park site in Newark, DE has an exciting opportunity for multiple Production Operators to join our team! We are immediately hiring for full-time employment.

The Tralee Park facility produces high performance Kalrez® seals in a discrete part manufacturing environment. We have recently expanded our business by building an additional facility to support our production needs. For more than 30 years, Kalrez® parts have demonstrated cost-effective solutions for high-performance sealing applications globally.

DuPont offers an excellent compensation and benefits package that include but are not limited to the following:

• Generous Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year, based on years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Annual pay based on hourly wage, shift premium, and regularly scheduled overtime on set 12-hour rotating shift schedules.

• Pay raise after first 12 months based on role progression.
• Shift differential of $1.50/hour for 12-hour rotating shift schedules.
• $ for $ matching 401k plan up to 6%, and a 3% retirement savings contribution monthly.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operate fork trucks and motorized equipment
• Routinely measure parts against specifications to ensure they are within allowed tolerances using various measuring devices
• Perform basic maintenance
• Always maintains safety and quality standards at all times. Initiates and follows emergency procedures when necessary
• Perform area patrols to visually inspect, monitor equipment and process conditions to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and environmental regulations
• Sets-up, monitors and operates mills, extruders, presses, etc. ensuring quality and conformance with standard operating procedures.

The following are required:

• Ability to work legally in the United States; No visa sponsorship/support
• Good communication, interpersonal, organizational, numerical, and analytical skills are required
• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required
• Must be able to work overtime when required, per business need
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

Preferred Requirements for Some Roles:

• Knowledge and experience with Automated Process Controls (PLC system.

• Experience in powder metal pressing operations
• Ability to interpret blueprints
• Process Safety Management (PSM) knowledge and experience

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) & quality protective equipment including steel toe shoes, gloves, hard hat.
• Ability to wear a full-face respirator may be required for some roles.
• Stand for extended periods of time while working at machines
• While performing the duties of this job, various physical requirements include: climbing stairs, bending, squatting, pushing, pulling and performing overhead work.
• Some work requires manual dexterity & repetitive movements of the upper extremities
• Lifting > 20-30 lb. regularly, lifting 40-50 lb. occasionally
• Use of mobile equipment
• Responsible for ensuring, promoting, and working in a clean environment with varying degrees of temperatures, humidity and Quality Protective Equipment

Shift:

You must be available for all shifts listed to be considered for this role. Please note most of our roles will fall in the 12-hour rotating shift category, and you will not have an option to select a specific shift. All shifts are assigned based on business needs.

• 12- hour Rotating/Non-Rotating shifts: 6am-6pm, 6pm-6am

• 8-hour shifts: 6am-2pm, 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am,10pm-6m,12am-8am
