Experience:
Two to three years of experience as a customer service representative in a call center environment is required.
For applicants who will perform this position in New York City or Westchester County, the proposed hiring rate $31.34 p/hr. to $35.36 p/hr. For applicants who will perform this position outside of New York City or Westchester County, salary will reflect local market rates and be commensurate with the applicant’s skills, job-related knowledge, and experience.
Unless otherwise specified, all posted opportunities are located in the New York or Greater Tri-State office locations.

Responsibilities:This position is responsible for providing high level customer service to NYBC donors by accurately addressing donor concerns as they pertain to Marketing campaigns and / or offers. The individual in this position will address these marketing concerns and correctly document information in the Donor Care module on the donor’s profile within a designated time frame. This role requires full understanding of all Marketing campaigns, offers, points, donor portal logins and Online Rewards store orders.
- Interact daily with internal and external colleagues including NYBCe call center, rewards store and mailing house staff.
- Communicate with both internal and external customers and address questions as they arise.
- Respond promptly to donor inquiries via phone or email.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude when interacting with donors.
- Act as a donor advocate by addressing and tracking concerns in an industry standard CRM.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
